Description
When a Trip Permit agent meets the required qualifications, they may enter into an agreement with ODOT to allow the Agent to sell and issue Trip Permits directly to the public. The Trip Permit Agent purchases the trip permits from ODOT and are required to prepay for a supply of Trip Permits. Upon receipt of payment, ODOT issues a traceable number of Trip Permits to the Trip Permit Agent . In accordance with a written agreement, the Trip Permit Agent may begin distributing upon receipt of a request from the public. In addition, upon Agreement expiration or termination, the sales agent may return the unused Trip Permits and request a refund from ODOTContact
